Ellen Barry
Ellen Barry is currently the Boston-based New England bureau chief for the New York Times. Previously, she was the newspaper’s Chief International Correspondent, based in London, New Delhi-based South Asia bureau chief, Moscow bureau chief, Moscow-based foreign correspondent for The Times and a reporter for the Metro section, based in Queens. While in Russia, she was part of a team which won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for International reporting for a series on impunity in Russia’s justice system. Before joining The Times, Ellen was Atlanta bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times, and a news and feature writer for the Boston Globe. While at the Globe, she was a 2002 Pulitzer Prize finalist in Feature Writing for a series, "Lost Boys of Sudan." This series also earned her the American Society of Newspaper Editors 2002 Distinguished Writing Award for Non-Deadline Writing. (source: International Women’s Media Foundation)

Tom Brokaw
Thomas John Brokaw is a retired television journalist and author. He is the only person to have hosted all three major NBC News programs: The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, and, briefly, Meet the Press. He now serves as a special correspondent for NBC News and works on documentaries for other outlets. In 2020 he was featured on Dateline NBC’s” special report, “The Lost Boys.”
